Our first event in Derby with free blood tests and free blood pressure tests. Plenty of information and details to highlight the early symptoms, about the effects of diabetes and importantly how you can make minor adjustments in your life to help avoid or reduce the effects of diabetes.

Firstly thank you so much to Pharmacist Bal Chohan (back left), Dispenser Jaspreet Dabb (back right), Healthcare Assistant Inderpreet Chohan (front left) and Dispenser Shameen Akhter (front right) who all work at Lloyds Pharmacy on Stenson Road, Derby. These young ladies gave up their free time on Sunday to help with our opening event. SeekDAC would like to applaud their professionalism and politeness at all times throughout the whole day.
The gurdwara was visited by several hundred people, attending a wedding and another religious event. We managed to test over 100 visitors, providing them with the necessary information. The gurdwara submitted donations made by the visitors, totalling £100.00 to which we would like to extend our appreciation of support to all those who contributed on that day.
